Cold rain, a lullaby to my soul,
Drifting off to dreams untold,
In the chill, a warmth I find,
Wrapped in nature’s watery grind.
Peaceful slumber, amidst the storm,
Drumming beats of nature’s form,
The world outside a lullaby,
As I dream beneath the sky.
Oh, how the rain dances and sings,
A symphony of nature’s flings,
A melody of life and growth,
A blessing from the heavens both.
So let the rain wash away the pain,
And soothe my soul in its refrain,
For in the midst of the summer’s bloom,
Cold rain brings peace to my room.
