Balance

In times of yore, ‘midst chaos and uncertain strife,
A treasure thou didst bring, a gift that breathed of life.
Thy presence, like calm seas after tempest’s roar,
Did soothe my weary soul, and yearn for evermore.

Once, harmony a distant dream, a phantom in the night,
But then thine eyes met mine, and bathed the world in light.
With each day’s passing, stronger grew our bond, I vow,
Two hearts entwined, in love’s sweet dance, here and now.

A rock amidst the storm’s wild rage, thou art to me,
When waves of doubt may rise, and pull me out at sea.
Hand in hand we walk, through trials yet unseen,
Together we shall face them, a love forever keen.

Our bond, a symphony, where softest notes entwine,
With fiery crescendos, a melody divine.
And in this tapestry, of beauty and of grace,
I find in thee, my balance, my forever, my embrace.

So let us journey on, through fields both fair and stark,
And cherish every step, in this love’s wondrous ark.
For in thine arms I’ve found, a harmony so true,
A love that knows no bounds, forever constant, and for you.
