Don’t Stop Running

Lost the Ghost scanned the land
the unforgivable trespasses of the intruders
forced his hand once more.
Pain and suffering scorched the Earth once again
Between the soul and the heavens.
The moon smiled down at us;
between the tide and the thunders
the breeze shook the vessel
into our prayers we hung
our last memories.
The Ghost called us once again
Into the fire we ran.
The flames engulfed us
but our souls did not burn
baptized by fire we re-emerged
into the darkness.
Lost between Hell and Earth.
The Ghost swept over us like the cold hand of god.
Silent and unworthy we felt our souls dying.
