Sirens cried in the middle of the street,
and the cries of the child did not bother the Iced
creatures that dragged the mother away.
Judged and executed the mother tears melted
in the wind. Her shattering heart in the night broke.
Her only Sin. A sin that many mothers have,
the sin of working an honest job for honest pay.
Garbage cleaning among the pee and waste.
Legs bent inhaling the chemicals and dirt.
Hungry and tired she smiled,
to her child that embraced her humiliations away,
and that was enough for her to keep working on.
