In mourning, I walked,
Through shadows and haze,
Remembering the moments,
Of love and grace.

The ones who’ve left us,
Their memory we hold,
Their presence is still with us,
As stories are told.

In the morning I crawled,
Through grief and pain,
The weight of loss heavy,
Like a never-ending rain.

But as time moves on,
We learn to carry on,
We find new ways to smile,
And remember the gone.

Life and death, intertwined,
A cycle that we face,
Though we mourn and crawl,
Hope can always take its place.

For in the memories we cherish,
And the love that we share,
Our departed ones live on,
And their light will always be there.
